At STAR Martial Arts, all students are encouraged towards the path of continuous improvement and personal best. Our instructors take this concept to the next level by training hours upon hours as teachers, students, and competitors. We strongly believe that well-trained students can only come from experienced, active, and highly competitive instructors. It is this philosophy that has excelled our school to the top of competition within the American Taekwondo Association (ATA). Our school currently hosts Three 4th Degree Black Belt Instructors, as well as multiple junior Instructors from 1st-3rd Degree Black Belt. These instructors hold (or have trained students) who have earned 7 World Championship Titles, Over 25 World Silver/Bronze Medals, Over 125 National Top Ten Rankings, and over 225 State Champion Titles.

At STAR Martial Arts, we feel it is important to note that age is not our main consideration in training instructors, but instead we focus on commitment, leadership skills, and mastery of the material. There may be times where you or your child will be paired with a junior instructor who is of a younger age. However, it is important to note that whether the instructor is 8 or 18, they have had at minimum five years of experience in martial arts, and would not be on the floor if they were not trusted by the school.
